How many shows will there be?

There will be 15 webisodes airing starting on Tuesday November 17th. The schedule of shows and featured locations can be found HERE.

What is this I hear about College Scholarships?

Every time you go onto the site and vote for your favorite team, you get entered to win one of Four College Scholarships donated by NACS Foundation and Stone Modeling and Talent Agency.

I hear the Scholarships are unencumbered and giftable - what does that mean?

That means the scholarship is good for any accredited school in continental USA (undergrad, grad, PHD) and if Grandma wins the scholarship - she can give it to you!  So you want to get the entire family...all your friends voting if you want to get the scholarship.

Are there other things I could win?

Yes! Each week there will be a drawing for free dining, tickets and merchandise.  Be sure to vote each week to get  into the drawing.

How many times can I vote?

You can vote once per day!  So make sure you get all your chances at winning.

How do the teams win?

On film the teams compete to collect points. However they must add their points to the votes they get from YOU. The team with the most points/votes wins downtown for a year. 

What neighborhoods are being featured?

Tremont, Detroit Shoreway, St. Clair Superior, University Circle, Downtown

Auditions are over!  We have three AMAZING teams getting ready to start the games. 

The three teams (two people per team) are sponsored by Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C), Hiram College and LiveCLEVELAND!

They will all be filmed this October all over the city of Cleveland as they compete in hilarious challenges.

The shows will launch in November 2009 with five webisodes (one per week) on www.gotcitygame.tv . With each webisode you can VOTE for your favorite team.  The team with the most combined points and votes will win.  The teams are competing to win Cleveland for a year - including a free lease at the Tremont Place Lofts and FREE tickets and coupons for sports, music, theatre, restaurants, nightclubs...everything that makes downtown living amazing.

AND, each time YOU vote - YOU get intered to WIN weekly prizes and the chance to win the GRAND PRIZE - one of Four (4) Scholarships.  The Scholarships are giftable (meaning - if grandma wins the scholarship she can give it to you); and they are unencumbered (meaning you can use if you are attending any accredited school in the USA, for your undergrad, graduat, PHD degree). (you can vote once per day - seven times a week!)

Q. How were the teams picked?

A. We held 8 Auditions all over the city last month.  The Team "Sponsors" picked the semi-finalists from the YouTube videos submitted on the Got City*Game site. They then had to pass a background check and confirm they could commit  to the shooting schedule.

Q. Can I still submit a video?

A. Yes - we would love that!  Here are the types of things we want to know -

1. If you had visitors coming to town, where would you suggest they visit

2. What kinds of incredible jobs do you know about in Northeast Ohio

3. Tell us something amazing about a school/college/university in Northeast Ohio we should know about

4. Keep it positive - we hold the right to delete any videos that are inappropriate.

Q. How do I  submit a video?

A. Here's what you do.

1. Make a fun, hilarious, amazing video - with your cell phone, flip camera or what ever.

2. Download it to: www.youtube.com/user/gotcitygame

3. Register at www.gotcitygame.tv (register button is on the upper right corner of site)

4. Submit the video by clicking the "submit" button on our home page.  Copy the URL from the Youtube site into the URL box in the "Submit" page.
